HDC comments from BuildItGreen

I've attached a couple of PDF's with BIG's comments.

Brian from BIG says:

"I have attached two letters that we submitted last year during the code development process for your review. Please note that the draft green building code has gone through several iterations and there are elements in the letters that they have already addressed."

Comments from Henry Siegel about mandatory application of the code:

As discussed with Steve Winkel, member of BSC, why not have this be a mandatory section with a point system, similar to chapter 34 of the code.

The point system could include some mandatory measures (sprinklers don’t spray building and other easy stuff) and optional points per section for other measures. Assign a minimum # of points per section and require a total that is greater than the sum of the minimums points for each section. Then raise the bar at each revision by requiring a higher number of points.
